FOLLY BEACH PIER
My name is Shanon M. McAlister. I live and grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. I have created this blog to share my photography images. My interest in photography started back in high school. When it comes to photography, various subjects catch my eye - everything from people, landscapes to the smallest detail on a flower. I not only enjoy taking photographs but also spend hours in front of my computer adding several different kinds of effects to my images. This makes a lot of my photography not very traditional. I am always looking for new ways to see a subject and a different way to improve in my skills and images.

ReplyDeleteDad used to take us to spend every summer on Folly Beach while he was doing summer Navy duty. My favorite place in the world. For a teen it was great. I can remember walking all the way to the right down to the end and there was a spooky camp/house there. I guess it was a summer camp for kids but abandoned. Used to walk down to the bakery and the post office. You could just about walk all over that beach.
ReplyDeleteYes, Folly Beach is a very special "Local" place to go here in Charleston, SC! Not as "touristy" as a lot of other beaches. I'm glad you have good memories here.
