This is a picture inside the Hunting Island Lighthouse. I found that I am really drawn to patterns. This was right up my alley.

- My name is Shanon M. McAlister. I live and grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. I have created this blog to share my photography images. My interest in photography started back in high school. When it comes to photography, various subjects catch my eye - everything from people, landscapes to the smallest detail on a flower. I not only enjoy taking photographs but also spend hours in front of my computer adding several different kinds of effects to my images. This makes a lot of my photography not very traditional. I am always looking for new ways to see a subject and a different way to improve in my skills and images.
